I am drawn by the feeling, the colours, the shapes and the play of light in my subjects and I ask myself what is it’s story and how can I paint it?

I love to paint and draw. I love to create. I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t holding a pencil and creating pictures and images. At the age of 13 my parents gave me my first set of oil paints. I fell in love with oils and it remains one of my favourite mediums to this day. Although I love detail, I do not consider myself a photo realist but I do strive to portray my images realistically yet still painterly.

Creating art is an extention of myself. It is a journey, a passion and life long learning.
